Chord Inversions
Once you have become familiar with chords, you can then
incorporate chord inversions into your daily practice. A
chord inversion is simply inverting a chord to play it a
different way. For example, the triad chord C E G can be
inverted to E G C and G C E.

For now, you can simply play a one note bass line to fill in
your chords. Do this by playing the 1st key of
each chord with your left hand. For example, you would play
the C key near the far left of the piano with the left hand
for a C triad chord.

For an even fuller sound, try playing two C’s with the left
hand. Stretch the thumb and pinky until they both reach the
C key.
