Have you always wanted to learn how to play the piano but just never really had the time?  Well, here's your opportunity.

I've always wanted to learn how to play the piano.  I come from a family of musicians.  My father played piano in the church for over 30 years (mostly hymnals) as well as 2 of his brothers.

I took piano lessons when I was younger but I hated playing at recitals.  I just wanted to play piano.  That's it!  So, I stopped taking piano lessons and my piano playing career ended.

In high school, I joined the band and learned how to read and play music on different instruments such as the clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and flute but I still didn't learn to play the piano.

As the years passed by, I watched my younger cousin as her piano lessons grew from playing Hot Cross Buns to Chopin and now she plays as the Minister of Music for her church.  I can still remember the many times I would watch her trying to remember how she fingered different runs and lics.  With her help, I did manage to learn how to play a few songs but I still didn't understand what I was doing.

That's when I finally decided to do a little research for myself.  I began reading different books and websites trying to understand the theory behind music and the discovery that I uncovered has given me edge I needed to fulfill my life long dream.

What I discovered was that everything in music followed a pattern.  It's just that simple.  All you have to do is figure out the pattern.  It makes sense if you think about it.  If you listen to just about any song, you will hear the same notes being played over and over.

So, how do you figure out the pattern?
